Marie & Sophie: Choosing freedom after university

Happiness is the only thing that doubles when you share it. For many people that's just a throwaway line. But we've really experienced what it means to share happiness. We're Marie and Sophie and we come from a small village in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

At first this business opportunity was never an option for us. We've known the business for about 19 years, because a large part of our family has been running it ever since. After school we went abroad: one of us to Switzerland, the other on a short trip around the world. Back home we knew: we're going to university first. International business and biology. We both really liked our subjects.

But during our bachelor's it became clear: we don't want to work like this long-term and forever. Freedom of place and time, financial freedom, meaning and fun are simply very important to us. Our goal was to make our own dreams, wishes and ideas come true instead of working for other people's dreams, and to happily share them with others.

From that moment it was clear: we want to change something. We're looking for a business opportunity that gives us freedom of time, place and money. And once we understood that, a lot became clear: this opportunity was right in front of us. We had just never seen it as a chance for our own lives.

One of us took the chance straight away, the other took a bit longer. Since then, what has happened is incredible. We both have freedom of place and time and can do exactly what we enjoy and what fulfils us. Financial freedom is of course also a big goal for us.
